Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most well-known roles are Shannon Rutherford, a character in ABC's Lost series, and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Her birthplace was Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of high school after her parents separated to go to Los Angeles to live with her mother. The actress landed her first part in the film, Rachel's Room's title character, in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. Her performance in the role of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the T.V. movie Murder In Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played the lead actress on Lost for its first two seasons. In 2004, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award with all the cast. Leaving the series Grace was keen to work as a film actress, and had played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. The actress was on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) as well as opposite Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. The role was reprised in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015).
